Sweden – Volunteer

Are you a non-EU citizen wishing to be a volunteer in Sweden? You can find information below on the conditions to fulfil and procedures to follow, as well as the rights you can enjoy during your stay.

If you want to work as an unpaid volunteer for an organisation in Sweden, you can apply for a visitor’s permit. This also applies if you have been invited to participate in an internship at an organisation or company for a short period.

If you fulfil the conditions, you will be issued a visitor´s permit.
